We acknowledge the original custodians, the Wadawurrung people of the Kulin alliance, of the land on which our buildings of worship stand and on which we gather.
& THE COMING WEEK
Attending Worship – COVID Restrictions
There will be some important and essential Covid restrictions that have to be met.
- There is no need to book.
- You will need to sign in using the QR Code every time you come to the Church.
- Please wear your mask inside the buildings at all times.
We hope that you are all coping with the heat this week. Once again this week there is no Connection but Robert is ready to start doing this again from 5 February 2022. So if you have anything that you would like to be included please email him the details.
- We need a Volunteer for QR Coding this Sunday 30th January 2022.
- We also need a Volunteer to assist with Cleaning this Sunday 30th January 2022
So if you can assist please let the office know.
The Gardening Group
The Gardening group resumed as of Thursday 20th January, albeit very hot at the moment. Special thanks this week to Simon R and his son Tyrick who have spent 5-6 hours, whipper snipping and cutting the grass despite the hot weather. Thank you Simon and Tyrick. Much appreciated.
Today 27th January they will concentrate on watering as much as they can.
If anyone in the congregation has an old soaker hose that they no longer use, our flower beds of new roses would really appreciate a good soak. And if anyone is looking for a new interest in the new year, the Gardening group meet each Thursday morning for 2 hours, and would welcome you to join us.
Thanks Geoff G.
Church Council will be having their retreat on Saturday 5th February 2022
Please remember the people of Tonga in your Prayers. If you would like to donate you can do so through Uniting World and Act for Peace.
You are all invited to a church picnic on Saturday 29th January 2022 at the Church at 5.30pm.
