& THE COMING WEEK

Return to Worship – COVID Restrictions

There will be some important and essential Covid restrictions that have to be met.

  1. There is no need to book.
  2. You will need to sign in using the QR Code every time you come to the Church.
  3. Please wear your mask inside the buildings at all times.

Good Morning,

Volunteers are needed for QR Coding on 23rd January 2022 and we need Volunteers for all these positions for February 2022. So please let us know if you can assist.

Our Prayers

When someone is included in our prayers, they often find themselves inundated with questions that require a retelling of an already stress-filled story over & over. Sometimes they are struggling with those questions themselves. We’ve been asked to hold that person in prayer. There’s no need for detail, God can fill in the blanks, but humans have difficulty resting with the mystery. If offering your support in person, keep your initial comments sincere, supportive, and brief. Ask yourself: why am I asking the questions? Remember that silence can be golden as it provides the space for someone to talk as much, or as little, as they able to.

The following is provided in support of Wilma and Brian H as they mourn the death of their much loved 28 year old, grandson Darcy and provide comfort and support for their daughter and her family. As Darcy chose to take his own life they are left with many questions, not enough answers and also heart-warming memories of a wonderful, caring, and fun loving grandson. They miss his big hugs and kisses and are comforted by the thought that God has another wonderful angel.

So if you need pastoral care please contact Annetia or Audrey.

Lois C is currently staying with family following her recent stay in hospital. She would love to hear from her friends at Crossroads.
